About Me

Hi, I'm Coach Don!

My love for bowling started at the age of 5, and I've been hooked ever since. I've bowled in leagues and tournaments all over the country, including at the collegiate level. Along the way, I've made many lifelong friends and developed a deep appreciation for the sport.

After years of casually helping bowlers step up their game, I decided to make it official as a USBC Bronze coach. Turned out, I love it! So much that I leveled up to USBC Silver in 2024 and jumped at the chance to become the assistant coach at Olathe Northwest High School in 2025. Seeing the progress my students make and the joy they experience when they achieve their goals is what drives me.

I offer private lessons primarily at Olathe Lanes East, a state-of-the-art bowling center and my preferred teaching facility. It's conveniently located for bowlers across the entire Kansas City metro area.

Prefer a different center? Lessons at other Kansas City area bowling centers can be arranged by request. My coaching fee stays the same, but lane fees at alternate centers are not included and are the responsibility of the student. Contact me directly to set that up.
